Reversing a flare-up with Anuleaf AD

How do I get the best results from Anuleaf AD? It’s as easy as 1-2-3

  1. Recognize when you’re beginning to experience a flare-up
  2. Put Anuleaf AD on immediately
  3. Wear it continuously for the next 24 hours

Recognizing a flare-up.

If you have constipation… feel a tightness around the anal area … or feel a bump during a self-examination, a hemorrhoid attack may be imminent.

And just as the best time to treat a migraine attack is as soon as it starts, the beginning of a hemorrhoid attack is the best time to begin treatment as well. Why? Because once the hemorrhoid swells and prolapses, the attack quickly becomes more severe and painful, due to rubbing and pressure from the natural movement of your body on the anal area. If the hemorrhoid is prolapsed, the motion causes throbbing and shooting pain, and increases swelling.

It is at this time that you are in danger of getting a thrombosed hemorrhoid – a hemorrhoid with a blood clot -- so it is very important you act fast. Once your hemorrhoid becomes thrombosed, you may need to see a doctor – and that means spending more time treating your condition, and needlessly suffering all that pain and pressure. So when you feel a hemorrhoid flare-up, act fast – and put Anuleaf AD on without delay.

How do I know if I need to continue wearing Anuleaf AD?

If you still feel a bump during self-examination and it hurts when you walk, sleep or sit, you should continue to use Anuleaf AD. On the other hand, if the pressure and pain have subsided and the hemorrhoid has returned to its natural position, you may remove Anuleaf AD. Once you have healed successfully, you are free to exercise and resume your usual activities.

Should I take pain medication with AnuleafAD?

In moderation, pain medication together with Anuleaf AD will improve things. However, taking too much pain medication can cause constipation – a condition that actually can make your hemorrhoids worse, not better.

What if I cannot take pain medication?

To compensate, take more warm baths, and give yourself a nice amount of time to rest, read or watch TV. Often, a hemorrhoid flare-up result from too many activities and stress, and resting is an important factor in recuperation. How much time do you need? That depends on the severity of your attack, and the number of inflamed hemorrhoids you have. Taking a few hours off your feet should bring the same results as taking pain medication.

What if I cannot take time off to rest while I am wearing Anuleaf AD?

If you are in a lot of pain even when you wear Anuleaf AD, take pain medication as needed. You should also consider taking a stool softener. Your flare-up may take longer to heal, but continuing to wear Anuleaf AD will at least make your condition more tolerable.

However, when the opportunity to rest presents itself, like when you get off from work, you must rest.

When is it most important to wear Anuleaf AD?

While sleeping. Lying in bed is a great time to reverse your swelling, since your body is not moving and rubbing against the inflamed area. To minimize rubbing and pressure to the hemorrhoid flareup, be sure to sleep on your side or stomach, rather than on your back.

What can I wear when I am wearing Anuleaf AD?

While you are sleeping, wear nothing or very loose underwear. Skimpy and tight underwear will tend to shrink and rub against the anal area. Boxers and low cut, loose-fitting underwear are ideal.

When you are out and about, wear loose-fitting clothing. Clothing that is tight around the hip area or the stomach will add pressure to the anal area, and could undo all the beneficial effects of Anuleaf AD.
